Roger Waters - On Tour 1999

Roger's concert at the Landmark Theater, Syracuse, NY. has been rescheduled for August 10th, Pepsi Arena, Albany, NY.

Date: Wed, 28 Jul 1999 19:26:45 -0400

Hey all,

Here's what the promoter asked us to pass along on the air as a reason for the cancellation of Roger's 7/28 show at the 3,000-seat Landmark Theater... the stage was too big for the venue, in fact, he mentioned that they've been having to leave parts of the stage in the loading trucks on the first few nights of the tour because the venues couldn't handle the production. They told us that they couldn't secure a date for a make-up show here in town. (We do have other venues comparable in size.) The show is now 8/10 at the 17,000-seat Pepsi Arena in Albany, NY. (Yes, that's 3 hours away from Syracuse!) Friday morning at 10am, you can begin to bring your original tickets to the Landmark for exchanges for the Albany show. (Your tickets will be commensurate with what you have now.) Tickets also go on sale for the Albany show at this time for $45 and $30.

It's really infuriating to find out that the show is canceled only 1 day in advance!

Oh well, nothing says that we can't still have an Echoesian gathering in Albany! Anyone going should check in with Scott 'donkyFliP' J.'s " Met Me in the Flesh" site.

Hang in there! After waiting 12 years, I guess I can wait another 3 weeks to see Roger.
